Biography

Oliver Margulies pursues his professional career as a violinist and violist in orchestras and chamber music. He holds a degree in music physiology (master’s at Zurich University of the Arts) with further qualifications as a certified Dispokinesis teacher, Liebscher & Bracht pain therapy, and ZRM(R) coach.
As a doctor of music education (PhD, collaboration between the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and the Zurich University of the Arts), Oliver Margulies teaches at the Stella Vorarlberg and at the Musikschule-Konservatorium Zürich and has developed and established the music physiology teaching and counselling programme at both institutions. He is co-founder of the Zürcher Zentrum Musikerhand ZZM and works as a lecturer and research assistant in the field of music physiology / music and preventive medicine at the Zurich University of the Arts.
