Costs and funding opportunities
Tuition fee
Tuition fees depend on the student’s country of origin and consist of the semester fee and the ÖH fee.
(as of October 2025)
EU citizens: €270 per semester
Non-EU citizens: €590 per semester
ÖH contribution: €25.20 per semester
Payment terms
Admission to the programme or registration to continue a programme can only be completed once the prescribed fee has been paid in full and on time. Partial payment is not possible.
The tuition fee must be paid within the admission period! Otherwise, admission to the programme will not be granted or the student will be deregistered from the programme.
For transfers from abroad, please note that fees (may) apply and these are to be paid by the student.
Cost of living
The cost of living in western Austria is relatively high. We therefore recommend budgeting at least €1.300 per month (if you need your own accommodation).
