Biography

Editha Fetz studied in Winterthur (Prof. T. Füri) and Vienna (Prof. T. Christian, Prof. B. Kuschnir). During her studies, she became a member of the Austrian Bach Soloists and the Concentus Musicus Wien under the former direction of N. Harnoncourt. With both ensembles she has participated for decades in international concert tours, CD, radio and television recordings. Participation in the following festivals: Wiener Festwochen, Luzerner Festwochen, Salzburger Mozartwochen, Schubertiade Hohenems, Styriarte Graz, Bregenzer Meisterkonzerte, and many more. Many years of participation in the Zurich Opera Orchestra, Orchestra La Scintilla – Zurich Opera House, and the Vienna Chamber Orchestra as well as a busy chamber music and solo career. 2021 Foundation of the Ensemble Lago di Costanza and her own concert series in the Gwiggen Monastery (Vlbg). Various concertmaster activities, including Kammerphilharmonie Bodensee, Collegium Musicum Ostschweiz. She has been a professor of violin and chamber music in Feldkirch since 1994. She also held a teaching position at the Trossingen University of Music.
