Biography

Judith Bechter studied at the Vorarlberg State Conservatory with Annelies Hückl IGP with a focus on elementary music education and solo singing as a concert subject. She also completed a master’s degree in vocal pedagogy at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz. In addition to her intensive teaching activities, stage productions, recitals, and concerts have taken her to Austria, Germany, France, Italy, and the Principality of Liechtenstein. The singer works with the Schubertiade Schwarzenberg/Hohenems, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the Vienna Chamber Philharmonic, the Vienna Classical Players and the Zurich Symphony Orchestra, among others. She is a regular jury member at competitions. For several years, she led the study area for gifted students at the Vorarlberg State Conservatory and is currently Chair of the Senate of Stella Vorarlberg.
