Biografie
Matthias Hendrickx-Fischer is a professionally trained drummer, composer and journalist, working as a musician for over 20 years. After years as moderator, author and video producer in the classical division of Bayerischer Rundfunk, he became Commissioner for Popular Music at Bezirk Oberbayern in 2013, advising cultural creators in starting businesses and supervising ministries in Bavaria and Hessen. He collaborated with companies such as Audi AG and institutions like ZKM Karlsruhe, developing interdisciplinary cultural productions. He lectured at Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and served on the committee of the Deutscher Tonkünstlerverband. Since 2023 he works for the Vorarlberger Gemeindeverband, developing awareness campaigns in waste management and leading statewide projects such as the Vorarlberg Environment Week and the Landscape Clean-Up. His bio-waste campaign film was nominated at five festivals in four countries and won Best Austrian Commissioned Animation in Vienna.
