Biography
Fabian Pablo Müller’s rich musical journey spans two continents, growing up in both Argentina and Germany. He began his studies as a young talent at the Vorarlberg State Conservatory before advancing to the Basel University of Music and the Berlin University of the Arts. He has won prizes in numerous competitions, some of them as a finalist, and was awarded a scholarship by the German Music Council in 2006. With a repertoire that bridges classical music, world music, and improvisation, Fabian Pablo Müller’s dynamic artistry inspires students and audiences alike. Since 2007, he has led the saxophone class at the university college, occasionally transforming it into a vibrant saxophone orchestra dedicated to tango. His teaching approach is enriched by his diverse musical experiences, which breathe fresh energy into chamber music projects. As a soloist and chamber musician, Fabian collaborates with esteemed orchestras such as the Meininger Hofkapelle, Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, Berlin Symphony Orchestra, Hof Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Tyrolean Festival Erl, Vorarlberg Symphony Orchestra, and Liechtenstein Symphony Orchestra. His passion for pushing the boundaries of saxophone performance shines through in his masterclasses, educational initiatives, and jury work at national and international competitions. Fabian Pablo Müller’s commitment to mentoring the next generation of musicians has borne remarkable results – many of his students have achieved success in national and international competitions and are flourishing as educators themselves. Fabian Pablo Müller coordinated the Department of Wind Instruments and Percussion from 2008 and took over the management of the Department of Music Education in the transformation process towards Stella Vorarlberg until 2023. Between 2010 and 2022, Fabian Pablo Müller also contributed his expertise as a lecturer in saxophone for school music education and the didactics of the saxophone as an artistic major at the University of Music and Theater Munich.
